SHADOW MAN tells the gripping story of the British secret agent William Stephenson, who drove the USA into the Second World War alongside Great Britain.
The feature documentary directed by John L’Ecuyer and written by John L’Ecuyer and Eric Sabbag tells the untold story of William Stephenson, a British undercover agent who during the second world war was sent to the USA to manipulate US public opinion towards the USA entering the war against Hitler. 80 years before “fake news” become a controverse political issue, Stephenson already mastered it – with great success. The film features rich re-enactments and the valuable insights of historians, some of which are the only ones who had access to the secret files that disclose Stephenson’s mission.
