Seventeen young Cubans travel across their country in a bus. Their luggage: electronic music, fat amplifiers and a mission. To make their music famous throughout the country.
The road trip „Dancefloor Caballeros“ is about more than beats und bytes. It is about the lives of young men and women on Cuba several decades after the “revolution’s glorious victory”. While one of the youths on tour rails against the “damn Americans”, and Fidel Castro’s slogans of Fatherland or Death, Socialism and Victory blast from the speakers, Lázaro tries to clinch a small sponsorship deal for the tour with the boss of a beverages company. Socialism on the left, capitalism on the right, and in the middle 17 musical-muchachos who just want one thing – to bring their music to the people of Cuba.
